COOK the BOOKS Club

Have you ever wanted to make the raspberry cordial from Anne of Green Gables? Or the pasta puttanesca from Bad Beginnings: A Series of Unfortunate Events? If so, this is the club for you. Each meeting will feature a discussion of a book along with some cooking activities. Sign up for one club meeting or a whole series.
The club will meet every other week on Thursday evenings or Saturday afternoons.
Times:
Thursday 4-6 PM (first meeting 6/16/16)

July 7: Anne of Green Gables

July 21: Tale of Desperaux

August 4: Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder

August 18: Redwall series

 

Note: A second session of Anne of Green Gables will be held on Saturday morning July 9, 10-12:30.

Cook the [Picture] Book Club: Seven Silly Eaters!

Meet the Peters family. Each of the silly kids in this big family will only eat one food. But what will happen when they try to prepare a birthday surprise for their hard working mom? you just need to read to find out. Join us to read and prepare a Seven Silly Eaters recipe. Great for ages 4 and up.

PESTO

This class is a chance for you to make some delicious food to eat and share. Pesto is made from basil, and it smells and tastes wonderful! You will leave with some pesto to take home and new skills to use. For this class, all experience levels are welcome! This workshop is best for ages 6-12.
