What are the suggested ages for the club?
Most of the books will be chapter books, and the club will be focused towards that reading level. I have a lot of picture books I want to feature, too, so there will likely be another club forming!
Do I have to come to every meeting?
Not at all. If you can’t make one you can always just read the book. I will be posting recipes on a shared site anyway. But we’d love to have you!
Do I have to buy the book?
All of the books are available at the public library. I will also have copies to lend.
Where will this be held?
South Austin, very close to Zilker Park and S Lamar.
What does the cost include?
Access to a site with recipes, a cooking class and all of the fruits of that labor, and a book discussion with an experienced language arts/writing workhop/social studies teacher.
